Media and Broadcast: Commentary on Technology, Culture, and Society.
In a world where technology, culture and mental life collide, I bring psychologically-informed insight to broadcast and print. As a psychotherapist, consultant and writer, I help media outlets interpret the human dimension of AI, social media, leadership and change.

What I Offer:

-
Broadcast Interviews and Commentary: I appear on television, radio and podcasts as an expert in technology, mental health, identity and culture.
-
Print and Digital Features: I write and advise for print and online, offering psychologically informed content that talks to tech, leadership and culture.
-
Production and Psychological Consultancy: For factual, drama or reality programmes, I offer behind-the-scenes psychological consultation, ensuring ethical, insightful and audience-safe content.

I am an experienced psychology writer with credits in Wired, The Guardian, The Independent, and I am a regular contributor to GQ offering insights on salient issues from the unique perspective of my many years of experience as a psychotherapist. You can also explore my deeper essays, framework of ideas and books via the links below.
Alongside my tenure as the longest serving mental health expert on Radio 1's iconic show The Surgery with Aled, have produced mental health content across a variety of BBC platforms. I was a regular presenter on both series of CBBC's life-skills programme Lifebabble and played himself on the BAFTA nominated documentary Professor Green: Suicide and Me - both available on iPlayer.

I make regular appearances as a guest expert on radio and television for commentary on psychology and mental well-being in response to breaking news or other stories of contemporary interest. In addition to my long relationship with BBC Radio 1, my credits include appearances on BBC Radio 4’s The Moral Maze and The Digital Human, BBC World, Public Radio International, and TRT.

In partnership with the youth charity The Mix, I have also made a series of short videos to help young people who suffer from panic attacks.
Podcasting
With my experience in live radio I am also at home in the world of podcasting too. Alongside Nathalie Nahai I co-hosted the limited podcast series Time To Show Up. As a popular podcast guest I am often invited to bring my unique psychological perspective to a variety of issues like technology, social media, and AI; climate change; leadership; culture; politics; media; money; and leadership and work. I've appeared on This Jungian Life, The Savvy Wallet, Chatter Beans, The Explorer Poet, In Conversation with Nathalie Nahai, and Brad Sugars Action Coach to name just a few
